In the heart of Old South, on the corner of Valeriusstraat and Emmastraat, Carter, a French bistro-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar, opened last year.
British chefs Charlie McGregor and Richard Taylor enthusiastically cook French classics with a twist. The menu is therefore a celebration. How about fruits de mer, Holtkamp lobster croquettes, gourmet hot dogs, grass ravioli, corn fed chicken and suckling pig? The beloved living room of Oud-Zuid has a large sun terrace that offers a beautiful view of the characteristic architecture of the buildings and monumental tree structure all around.
